Hands down the best coffee shop in salt lake. Not only is the staff really friendly and knowledgeable but the coffee is to die for. It’s such a fun little hangout spot and it’s also a really great spot if you need somewhere quiet to read or study. I love this place and can’t see myself going anywhere else

A cute little coffee shop. It has a very eclectically rustic feel throughout the shop which feels very reminiscent of the east goes and gives it a lot of visual interest in this city. The coffee/lattes aren’t necessarily the best I’ve had in the city, but they aren’t bad by any means— still good coffee. The people at the shop are what make it though! The staff here is always really kind and patient with my incredibly frustrating indecision in choosing a drink. They never seem bothered by a request and are always willing to suggest things!

I love coffee break. I’ve been going here since 2006. By far my favorite coffee shop. They offer a variety of drinks and food. They plenty of places to sit and you been sit on the front patio. I like that it’s not super busy. The employees are always friendly as well.

Stopped by late Friday night after enjoying Mahler’s Symphony No. 5 at the Utah Symphony, and I’m so glad this place is open until 1 AM! It’s a great spot to unwind in the area. The hot chocolate was delicious—especially with whipped cream. The staff was super friendly and nice to chat with, which made the experience even better. Definitely a cozy late-night gem!

I’ve been to Salt Lake Coffee Break many times, and the beverages are always excellent, esp. their Chai Latte and Mocha. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, and the staff is consistently friendly. It’s also the only coffee shop open until late night near downtown SLC, which makes it my go-to spot. Highly recommend!

I’ve been a customer at coffee break for a few months now. Might I just say what a wonderful experience this fine establishment has given me. I’ve met so many cool people, and made lifelong friends. The coffee is delicious and very sweet, like the staff ;). Cool bathroom, good vibes, great patio seating. You’ll love it ! Also the hummus plate is delicious!!!

This place was lowkey really cool. My friend and I were trying to find a place to just catchup and get some coffee to celebrate International Coffee Day, and this ended up being the place! Right when we went inside, you could just TELL it was a college student hub (so many caffeinated college students I swear, it was kind of crazy). The barista was so so sweet and was super patient with us (we felt so bad we were having a hard time deciding what to get, heheh). But we ended up getting a hot matcha and an iced chai latte - they were soooooo good, the matcha warmed my soul. Then we just went outside where there was a nice little area. Would recommend.
